Skyline Building

Anchorage, Alaska

Renovating a local classic.

Once dilapidated and rundown, a 1960s-era office building underwent an invigorating renovation that turned it into a highly sought after professional location.

MCG worked with the vintage design, not against it, employing new glazing and siding to accent the lines of the original structure. A new elevator tower complemented the exterior and provided accessibility to all floors.

The interiors evoked an eclectic, yet professional, look and the building’s layout maximized daylight and saves energy through low-voltage task lighting.
