Pacific High School

Sitka, Alaska

Dynamic spaces for a unique program.

A unique school in a forgettable building, the school renewal transformed a failing 1960s facility into a dynamic family oriented learning setting tailored to their diverse collection of students and teachers.

Folding glass walls allow for flexible arrangement of space throughout the day including their morning all school meeting, a cornerstone of their educational program.

Located along the waterfront the building exterior takes its cues from adjacent vernacular housing while capturing views of the bay.
